Arriving in Sédo Sébé in 1935, he became a spiritual guide and Imam of the great mosque.
Born in 1898, he began his apprenticeship in Thiarène before continuing his religious studies in Saloum. Persecuted in his native village, he sought refuge in Sédo Sébé in 1935, where he was warmly welcomed. Here, he founded a religious community and became the Imam of the great mosque, thus consolidating the village’s spiritual foundation.
